DESCRIPTION:Location Information\nLocation features : Beach\, plus a rising rockshelf with gullies. At this tide there should be some flow through the gullies. \nHazards/Dangers : It’s just off a high tide with a moderate swell\, so keep an eye on the surf. We need to step\, and sometimes jump over the gullies to get further up the rockshelf. SUMMARY:North Shoot - Saturday 6th April at Mona Vale Pool with Andrew Porter
DESCRIPTION:Location Information\nLocation features : A safe location for these conditions. Although we were at Mona Vale last month\, this time will be different. The forecast predicts a possible East Coast Low pounding the coast with high winds and rain (on Friday). Combine this with a high (1.9m) tide (on Saturday) and a 2-4m swell\, and we should get some pretty impressive wave action over the pool. There is shelter at the beach car park if it is still raining\, but to shoot the pool from there you will need a long lens. Easy access onto the beach to get closer without getting hit by in-coming waves.
