DESCRIPTION:Location Information\nLocation features : Famous ocean pool on the reef. This is a deceptive tide ; flat and receding\, but a forecast “rough” 2.6m swell.\nFrom the safety of the beach car park we can assess the swell and whether to venture onto the rockshelf beyond the pool. Bring a long lens if you have one\, to give yourself both options.\nIf the swell persists beyond dawn\, there should be plenty of surfers enjoying the waves in Bongin Bongin Bay to the left of the pool. \nHazards/Dangers : If you are near the waters’ edge\, keep an eye on the surf. The rockshelf can be slippery with numerous potholes to watch out for. \nFitness requirements: From the road there is a steep-ish track down to the beach\, and then a ten-minute flat walk out on the rockshelf. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a sunrise at Terrigal. This time we are going to the northern end of Terrigal rock shelf known as Terrigal Point. Access will be via the northern end of the Haven walking past the boat ramp. Tide will be low so this won’t be a problem. \nLocation features: Rockshelf and views to Wamberal and Forresters Beach. Some interesting rock formations with some flat rocks that have great reflections when wet. \nHazards/Dangers: Normal rock shelf dangers. Trip hazards\, holes\, slippery rocks\, rock slides. \nFitness requirements: Short walk around point.
