DESCRIPTION:Location Information\nLocation features: A fantastic rockshelf but will be narrower at this high tide. Usual opportunities to shoot the surf and sunrise\, but the reverse view of Turimetta headland with reflections\, is also very dramatic. \nHazards/Dangers: Be careful on the slippery rockshelf with cracks & potholes. Although this is a very low tide\, keep an eye on the surf at all times. \nFitness requirements: A fairly steep walk down to the beach from the road (and back up again afterwards). The last time we went to Whale Beach in November the tide was not high enough to produce flow in the gullies. So this time we are hoping for slightly better conditions. It is a 1.5m high tide with a 2.1m moderate swell. \nHazards/Dangers: Take care on the rockshelf and keep an eye on the surf \nFitness requirements: A short walk from the car park to the pool. DESCRIPTION:Location Information\nLocation features: North Curl Curl can be a spectacular location for sunrise\, with great views of Curl Curl Beach from the top of the Headland. Different comps are also available at Curl Curl rockpool\, where there might be some overflow from the high tide and moderate swell. \nHazards/Dangers: There is a short bush walk to the headland for cliff top views. Steps take you down to the rockpool. Access to the rock shelf east of (i.e. ocean side) the pool will depend on surf conditions and requires decent rock shoes/ boots. Although it is a low tide\, there is a forecast 1.8m (moderate) swell. \nFitness requirements: It’s a steep walk down to the beach\, and a slow climb back up to the road.
