Summary

This awesome jam packed Focus Community trip to Nelson Bay has been organised (and will be run by) by John Armytage and Ray Jennings. This trip is specifically aimed at helping beginners within the Focus community improve their camera craft and processing skills.

All bookings will be reviewed to ensure that beginners are given preference. As usual any beginners who are also Focus Plus members will be picked first!

Location: Nelson Bay, NSW
Trip dates: Friday afternoon, 23rd March 2018 to Sunday Morning, 25th March 2018
Attendees: Capped at 10pp including the organisers Ray & John
Cost: $285.00 Per Person for the weekend.
Inclusions: This covers your accommodation and tuition only.

What is a Focus Community Trip?

A Focus Community Trip (or community shoot) is organised by experienced Focus Members, not professional educators or tour leaders. Their expenses are covered by the attendees on each trip, simply to acknowledge the work they put into organising the itinerary and workshop sessions.

There is no profit element in the event costings. All other costs are shared between the attendees, making these trips not only great fun, but also extremely good value for money!

Accomodation

We will be staying at the Oaks Pacific Blue Resort: 265 Sandy Point Rd, Salamander Bay.

Accommodation is Twin Share for the 8 attendees, and strictly capped at 10 people including Ray & John.

Check in on Friday 23/2/2018 from 2pm. Check-out 25th Mar 2018 (by 10.00am).

Shoot Locations & Itinerary

We will be shooting some iconic Nelson Bay locations such as:

• Shoal Bay – Sticks / Canons / Beach / Zenith Beach
• Zenith Beach – Beach / Rocks / Headland
• Fishermans Bay
• The famous Tree at Salamander Bay

Note exact locations may change depending on tide and conditions.

In addition, we have scheduled formal education sessions as part of this workshop.

Those who are booked in will be provided with a detailed itinerary and trip plan, including shoot & education schedules as well as planned meal locations (reminder: any meal costs are not included in the price).
