This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.
By placing your name below you are stating that you have read and understood the Focus Safety Policy Document.
Location features: Photogenic little Beach, `lap’ & toddler pools, rockshelf (at high tide – maybe or maybe not.)
Hazards/Dangers: Should be lots of Easterly swell, at high tide. Rockshelf should be awash. The pools & surrounds will have lots of wave activity. Slippery areas, holes, breaking waves.
Fitness requirements: No particular fitness requirements. Normal agility around slippery areas.
Additional safety equipment required: Water-friendly footwear suitable for pools & beach. Cleats or rock-shoes for the rockshelf. Torch, shower-resistant outer wear.
