This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features: Beach and a flat rockshelf, with a possible reverse sunrise on Turimetta Headland with reflections
Hazards/Dangers: It’s a very low tide, but with a moderate swell, so conditions should be fairly calm. The rockshelf can be slippery with numerous potholes to watch out for.
Fitness requirements: From the road there is a steep track down to the beach, and then a ten-minute flat walk to access the rockshelf. So, I am allowing a little bit of extra time before first light for those who want to get onto the shelf.
Additional safety equipment required: Rock shoes (if you are going onto the rockshelf) and a torch to navigate around potholes in the dark.
