This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

North Shoot – Saturday 28th May at North Whale Beach with Andrew Porter

Location Information
Location features: It’s a small high tide with only a slight swell, which means there should be some flow across the rockshelf at North Whale Beach. It’s also a good beach for a sunrise, with isolated boulders in the surf at the northern end.
Hazards/Dangers: Some rock hopping required to get onto the rockshelf. After that it’s flat, but with a few crevasses to look out for.
Fitness requirements: A gentle 5 minute walk from the beach car park
Additional safety equipment required: Be prepared to get wet feet on the rock shelf. Rock shoes and a torch required.
