This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.
By placing your name below you are stating that you have read and understood the Focus Safety Policy Document.
Location features: Beach with foreground rocks, pool and rockshelf. A the tide of 1.4m and forecast swell of 1.5m should produce good flow over the rockshelf.
Hazards/Dangers: Need to be careful on the rockshelf and lookout for waves coming over the shelf.
Fitness requirements: A short walk from the car park to the pool and beach. A bit more strenuous to get onto and around the rockshelf.
Additional safety equipment required: Rock shoes if going onto the rockshelf. Torch. Warm clothes!
