This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

North Shoot: North Mona Vale – Saturday, 15th April 2023 with Andrew Porter

Location Information
Location features: The northern end of Basin Beach / Mona Vale beach features a cove, isolated boulders and a rock shelf with larger boulders and good flow. It may be possible to walk around the headland for views of Bungan Beach.
Hazards/Dangers: some rock-hopping required to get onto the rock shelf.
Fitness requirements: A 10-minute walk from the meeting point to the headland / rock shelf.
Additional safety equipment required: If you want to get onto the rock shelf, wear good rock shoes and bring a torch.
