Location Information
Gravelly Beach does not appear on Google Maps but it has been called this by locals for many years. It is the rockshelf area between Soldiers Beach and Pebbly Beach and one of the Central Coast’s most photographic locations.
Location features: Beautiful rock shelf overlooking Norah Head Lighthouse. Nice flow in the channel.
Hazards/Dangers: Usual dangers, slippery rocks, concealed holes, waves.
Fitness requirements: A short walk to rock shelf.
Additional safety equipment required: Rock shoes, torches
