North Shoot – Saturday 27th May at North Narrabeen Pools with Andrew Porter

Location Information

Location features : Wide-angle ‘infinity’ compositions of the large pools, plus the rockshelf on the far side with the North Narrabeen Gorge for good flow.

We will meet before the official ‘first light’ because with a cloudless sky forecast there will be colour on the horizon very early.

Good location for long exposures and possibly B&W.

Hazards/Dangers : Be careful to keep your balance if you are walking along the boardwalks around the pools. Beware of slippery rocks if you venture out onto the rockshelf.

Fitness requirements? : Short flat walk to the pools from the car park.

Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if you are going out onto the rockself.

Breakfast

Breakfast location: Nourished Narrabeen Cafe and Lounge, Narrabeen Park Parade (opens 6:30).

Been meaning to try this cafe since it opened – offshoot on the Nourished in Avalon, so good coffee at least ! No need to drive, walk from the car park, but check parking times/rates.
