This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location features : Beach with strewn boulders, three ocean pools plus a flat rockshelf with strong flow at the edge of the reef
Hazards/Dangers : The rockshelf will be slippery where wet. It’s a mid-tide, rising and waves will hit the edge of the reef quite hard. Best not to get too close to the surf,
Fitness requirements? : Short walk from the car park
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if you’re going onto the rockshelf
