This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Newcastle Shoot – Saturday 2nd March at Caves Beach with Terina Vale

Location Information
Location features: Large deep cave, with several smaller caves. Rock platform with interesting rocks below cliff, accessed via back of main cave. Please be mindful of other photographers and avoid leaving footprints across the entrance to the cave.
Hazards/Dangers: Rock shelf can be slippery. Limited headroom in the cave, so watch your head. Rocks may fall from cliff.
Fitness requirements: Level walk across sand from the car park to the main cave. It may be necessary to climb across a small rock platform, depending upon waves. There may be a large step down from the rock platform to the cave.
Additional safety equipment required: Torch and Rock shoes if accessing the rock shelf beyond the cave.
