This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.
By placing your name below you are stating that you have read and understood the Focus Safety Policy Document.
Location features : Rock-strewn beach. Cliff headland and, if the low tide and swell allow, the flat outer reef. Possible reverse sunrise of the cliff headland with reflections.
Hazards/Dangers : Some rock-hopping or paddling required to get onto the outer reef. Otherwise, no drama from the beach.
Fitness requirements? : Steep path down to (and back up from) the beach. Another five-minute + walk to the outer reef.
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if going onto the reef.
