Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features:
Beach vista from both ends and rock platforms with many photographic opportunities.
Hazards/Dangers:
Rock shelf has uneven surfaces and holes. The edge of the rock shelf is sudden and high, making exit from the water difficult. Possibility of slippery surfaces.
Fitness requirements:
Moderate – a short street walk to beach access point, a downhill boardwalk and a moderate 400 metre walk across the sand to the other end of the beach.
Additional safety equipment required:
Rock shoes are a necessity for accessing rock shelfs. You will require a flashlight for the walk in.
