North Shoot – Saturday 18th July at Avalon Beach with Andrew Porter
Location Information
Location features : Beach, Pool, Rockshelf, Headland.
These should be good conditions for Avalon. A low (rising tide) with a moderate swell. Sun rising in the north. Some cloud forecast. There is also an elevated position from the southern headland if the sunrise is colourful.
Hazards/Dangers : Some rock hopping to get around the rockshelf. Otherwise flat and easy access.
Fitness requirements? : Short walk from the car park.
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if going onto the rockshelf.
