Focus is a not-for-profit association and depends on volunteers, with a variety of skills and backgrounds, to support our community of enthusiastic landscape and seascape photographers.
We have a number of vacancies on the Focus Committee for 2024, to be confirmed at the Annual General Meeting in February.
Among our priorities for 2024 are :
- Maintaining active encouragement for Members to learn and to improve their photographic skills;
- Providing resources and opportunities for Members to engage, and also to attend regular Focus shoots
- Providing Members with a number of tangible benefits, ranging from discounts from Focus-approved Trip Providers and Sponsors, an education programme to help improve their skills in the field and in image processing, and a number of special events organised exclusively for Focus Members.
Volunteering to support Focus would mean running one of these projects, and reporting to the Focus Committee on a monthly basis. These days, most Focus Committee meetings are held via Zoom (so you don’t have to leave home, and you could live almost anywhere!).
