Central Coast Shoot – Saturday 19th July at Bouddi Coastal Walk with Linda.
Location Information
Bouddi Coastal Walk offers some unique views over beautiful rock shelves, board walk and the tessellated pavement. The actual rock shelf can be accessed via Putty Beach but there is also a track from above which is probably easier in low light. Plenty of compositions from the walk way as well without going on to rock shelf.
PLEASE NOTE: Like most national parks, Bouddi National Park charges for parking. If you don’t have your car registered with a park pass there is a machine near the toilet block. $8 fee.
Location features: Beach, rock shelf, board walk, unusual rock formations, views towards Northern Sydney.
Hazards/Dangers: Unfenced cliff top areas, slippery rock shelf, deep holes/pools, waves, steep stairs.
Fitness requirements: Approximately 50 stairs to beginning of boardwalk area. A further 450 metres to tessellated pavement if you choose to walk this far.
Additional safety equipment required: Head lamp. Rock shoes if you choose to go on rock shelf.
