Central Coast Shoot – Saturday 6th September at Pearl Beach (Green Point) with Ron Bonham
Location Information
Location features: A wide range of photo opportunities extending from the Pearl Beach Rock Pool, around the rock shelf on Green Point overlooking Broken Bay and Lion Island, including the aptly named Crab Claw Rock.
A lowish high tide with a predicted moderate swell should provide many photo opportunities to capture water flow and waves over the rock shelf. Refer to location photo of Crab Claw Rock
Hazards/Dangers: Slippery rock with uneven surface and the chance of rogue waves.
Fitness requirements: A short walk over the beach to the rock pool and then approximately 500 metres to Crab Claw Rock
Additional safety equipment required: Rock boots with headlamp or flashlight.
