This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features: Beach vista across to Newcastle East, Newcastle Baths and Canoe Pool, Rock shelves, City views and construction of the pathway is continuing.
Note: The Newcastle Williamtown Air Show is doing flybys from 10am-12:30pm and again in the afternoon, in this area. Please look up the schedule for specific information.
Hazards/Dangers: Rock shelves can be slippery and uneven with small rock pools.
Fitness requirements: Moderate. Pathway leading to the beach and around 70 metres of sand to reach the location.
Additional safety equipment required: Rock shoes for the rock shelves, low-powered torch recommended.
