Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features: Rock shelves, beachscape, sand dunes We will not see the sunrise on the horizon at the north end of Birubi Beach, but there is lots to photograph in this area including coloured rocks, flowers, pathways and a lookout. When the sun starts to rise, it lights up the rocks beautifully.
Hazards/Dangers: Cliff tops, rock shelves can be slippery and uneven with small rock pools, walkers, dogs and sometimes camels.
Fitness requirements: Medium. Short walk to beach, walking on sand dunes can be harder.
Additional safety equipment required: Rock shoes for the rock shelves, torch recommended.
