Newcastle Shoot – Saturday 6th December at Catherine Hill Bay (South Headland) with Terina Vale

Location Information

Location features: Seascape vistas south and north, including the abandoned coal loading jetty,  rock shelves and coastal vegetation.

Hazards/Dangers: Rock shelf and rocks can be slippery with sharp drop off the headland.  Trip hazards, falling rocks.

Fitness requirements: Moderate to hard.  400m walk down hill on rocky dirt path and then we need to go back up. Sturdy covered walking shoes a must.

Additional safety equipment required: Torch.  Rock shoes if accessing rock shelf.
