This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

North Shoot : Saturday 12th July at Palm Beach with Andrew Porter
Location Information
Location features : Sweeping view of Palm Beach all the way up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse. Pool and rockshelf.
Hazards/Dangers : None around the beach and pool, but the rockshelf has gutters and gullies so you should take care. This is a mid tide rising with only a gentle swell, so there shouldn’t be much danger from the surf.
Fitness requirements? : Short walk from the car park to the beach and pool. It should be possible to walk further around the headland along the rockshelf, but this is a rising tide so make sure that you can return without getting wet.
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if you are going out onto the rockshelf.
