This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features : Beach, pool and rockshelf. (Pool light will remain on until natural light prevails)
Hazards/Dangers : Swell may be too strong to access the rockshelf in the dark, but it’s easier when the light improves. Rockshelf will be slippery
Fitness requirements? : Short walk from the Avalon SLSC car park
Additional safety equipment required : Wear rock shoes if you are going onto the rockshelf
