This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.
By placing your name below you are stating that you have read and understood the Focus Safety Policy Document.
Location features : Beach, plus a flat rockshelf and gullies with some flow facing south (preferable if we are going to get another cloudless sunrise). A mid-tide (rising) but only a gentle swell, so the rockshelf should be easily accessible.
Hazards/Dangers : Gullies and crevasses in the rockshelf
Fitness requirements? : Short walk along the beach from the car park
Additional safety equipment required ?: Wear rock shoes and bring a head torch if you are going onto the rockshelf
