NORTH SHOOT – Saturday 19th August at North Mona Vale with Jon Hawton

Location Information

Location features : Beach with scattered rocks; rockshelf with large boulders. producing good surf compositions.

Hazards/Dangers : It’s a rising tide with it being about 1.4m @ 7:30, so there could be some paddling required to get back from the rockshelf, but it’s a moderate swell so the surf should not be dangerous

Fitness requirements? : A short walk to the beach. Some rock hopping required to get onto the rockshelf.

Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes.
