This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features (e.g. Beach, Pool, Rockshelf, Waterfall, City views):
Ocean pool, rock platform, beach
Hazards/Dangers (e.g. cliff top, slippery rock shelf, deep holes/pools):
Rock shelf can be slippery with holes and crevices. The swell on the morning will dictate if we can get onto the rock shelf or not.
Fitness requirements? (e.g. long/steep walk, stairs):
It’s only a short walk from the carpark to the pool and rock shelf.
Additional safety equipment required (e.g. Rock shoes, Flashlights)?:
Rock shoes are required if you are going onto the rock shelf, the pool surrounds can be slippery too.
