This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features : A safe location for these conditions. The forecast predicts rain and cloud. There is shelter at the beach car park if it is raining heavily but to shoot the pool from there you will need a long lens. Easy access onto the beach to get closer without getting hit by in-coming waves. Swell is not large but with a rising tide there could be some flow over the rocks and pool.
Hazards/Dangers : Moderate surf expected, and this is a rising tide.
Fitness requirements? : Short walk from the car park.
Additional safety equipment required : Always a good idea to wear rock shoes and to bring a torch.
