This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

North Shoot – Saturday 3rd October at Avalon Beach with Andrew Porter
Location Information
Location features : *the last shoot before Daylight Saving*
Beach, Pool and Rockshelf.
Cool-shaped rocks around the pool. At this low tide there will be easy access onto the rockshelf.
The pool lights can be a bit annoying until after first light.
There is also a good view over the pool from the top of the headland, if conditions are good.
There is shelter at the SLSC if there is rain (maybe bring a long lens for that eventuality).
Hazards/Dangers : Slippery Rockshelf. Some rock hopping required to get around the channel.
Fitness requirements? : Short flat walk from the car park.
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if going on the rockself.
