This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features : Beach with scattered rocks. A large flat rock shelf with gullies and flow. It’s a rising tide but the swell is only 1.2m, so conditions at this location should be fairly gentle.
Hazards/Dangers : Take care on the rock shelf and when crossing gullies. Black moss on some rocks is very slippery.
Fitness requirements? : Allow a 10-minute walk along the northern end of the beach to reach the rockshelf. Some rock hopping to get onto the shelf, but easy going from there.
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and please wear rock boots if you intend to walk onto the shelf.
