North Shoot – Saturday 7th March at Avalon Beach with Andrew Porter
Location Information
Location features : Beach, Pool and Rockshelf, with iconic views of the headland both north and south. Also a great view north from the top of the southern headland.
Hazards/Dangers : Slippery rockshelf and some boulder-hopping if you want around to the south. Otherwise, beach with boulders and rock pool are easily accessible. It’s an in-coming low tide with a slight swell.
Fitness requirements? : Short walk from the car park.
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if you’re going onto the rockshelf.
