North Shoot – Saturday 8th July – Irrawong Waterfall & Warriewood Wetlands with Mark Godfrey

Location Information
Location features: Irrawong reserve – waterfall, swamp sclerophyll forest and wetlands. The wetlands are renowned for rare birds and animals. We haven’t had much rain so the water over the fall will be low. We’ll head to breakfast about 7:30am so if you want to explore the wetlands let me know before setting off, so I know who’s coming to breakfast.
Hazards/Dangers: None significant.
Fitness requirements: the waterfall is 2-3 min. walk from the road to the west. The wetlands extend about 1 km along a track, east of the road. The track is well made and mostly flat/ boardwalk
Additional safety equipment required: a torch may be handy, but we’ll be meeting at about first light.
