This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features :
Rockpool (it’s nearly a high tide, so there should be some flow over the pool – the classic comp from this location).
Rockshelf. Possible access to the rockshelf at the back of the pool for good flow over the reef.
Headland. Good views over Curl Curl beaches on the way to the pool. Great view of the pool from above (if you can find the track to the top of the headland).
Hazards/Dangers : Beware of the in-coming tide, especially if you venture out onto the rockshelf.
Fitness requirements? : It’s a 10-minute walk from the car park and down steep steps to the rockpool.
Additional safety equipment required : Bring a torch and wear rock shoes if you are going onto the rockshelf.
