This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

North Shoot – Sunday 18th May at North Turimetta with Andrew Porter

This is a SUNDAY morning shoot
Location Information
Location features : Beach, isolated rocks and possible access to the rockshelf to witness the reverse sunrise and reflections on the massive Turimetta headland
Hazards/Dangers : It’s a 0.6m low tide, which would normally give access to the rockshelf relatively easily. But the swell forecast is 2.5m, rough at 8s, which means we need to keep an eye on the surf. Rockshelf is flat, but slippery with potholes.
Fitness requirements? : Fairly steep walk down to beach, and back up again.
Additional safety equipment required : Wear rock shoes and bring a torch
