This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features: This location includes a wide sandy beach, interesting rock platform, surf club and rows of Norfolk Island pine trees standing around the beach.
Hazards/Dangers: Parts of the rockshelf can be slippery and there are deep holes/pools in areas. Extreme care should be taken when out on the rock platform in case of large waves that can occur at anytime.
Fitness requirements: No specific fitness requirements are necessary. There is a short walk from the carpark to the beach and to the rockshelf.
Additional safety equipment required: It is a good idea to pack some good rock shoes and a head torch or a flashlight
