This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Location Information
Location features (e.g. Beach, Pool, Rockshelf, Waterfall, City views): This location combines a rockshelf and views out to Rangoon Island at the mouth of the Minnamurra River.
Hazards/Dangers (e.g. cliff top, slippery rock shelf, deep holes/pools): This location can have slippery and sharp rocks and the occasional rogue wave.
Fitness requirements? (e.g. long/steep walk, stairs): There is a 400m walk over level ground from the carpark to the shoot location – reasonable fitness levels are required.
Additional safety equipment required (e.g. Rock shoes, Flashlights)?: Rock shoes and a head torch are essential gear for this location.
