Location features: Rocks. In our `Access all Areas’ return to Bombo after the drama of our last visit, it’s all about the rocks. I’m seeing big, dark, dramatically-sculpted shapes in the cold, almost-clear light of a new (Election !!) day. But wait. There’s more .. following a more leisurely than normal brekkie, another Photography Gallery exhibition .. see below, followed by a scurry home to Vote !.
Hazards/Dangers: It’ll be a good deal safer, this time round. The safety briefing will be so brief, you could sneeze & miss it. In fact, I’ll give it here. Be kind to your mother. And don’t fall in.
Fitness requirements: Very good levels of balance & mobility required on this shoot. Bombo quarry is a difficult shoot to traverse, with large, tightly-packed rocks & poor footing.
Additional safety equipment required: Torch. Cleats or rock-shoes for the rock-shelf `wet’ areas. Solid walking boots with good ankle support for general area shooting. Shower-resistant layer.
