This Safety Policy is designed to promote the safety of all members of the Focus Seascape and Landscape Photography Inc Group (Focus) and outlines the responsibilities of members and event leaders.
Focus Photographers as a group advocates and promotes safe shooting practices. Please consider your personal safety and the safety of the group during your time spent on any Focus group outing.

Southies Shoot – (Kiama) Blowhole Point Rock Pool – Saturday 7th May 2022 with Murray Barnes

Location Information
Location features: Ocean-filled rock pool, stupendous views to East, North & West. Easy pool access & parking.
After-breakfast activity: Visit Photography Exhibition by Kiama-Shellharbour Camera Club, at Old Fire Station Gallery, Terralong St, Kiama. 9am to 5pm.
Hazards/Dangers: Some steps, slippery pool surfaces, rock pool-surrounds are awkward, rogue waves.
Fitness requirements: Normal levels of balance & mobility on wave-affected surfaces. It’s a pretty easy area to navigate.
Additional safety equipment required: Shower & wind-proof layer, Torch. Cleats or rock-boots for the rock-shelf, wave-resistant footwear for the pool-surrounds.
