Sydney North Shoot – Saturday 23rd August at Whale Beach and Pool with Mark Godfrey
Location Information
Location features: Beach, Pool and Rock Shelf
Hazards/Dangers: ********It’s almost high tide at sunrise with a moderate swell forecast so there will be dangerous waves washing over the edge of the rock shelf. The rock shelf also has crevices and can be slippery. You may get wet feet getting onto the rock shelf and maybe up to your thighs so be prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear.*********
Fitness requirements: Short walk from the carpark. Some rock hopping and water hazards to get to the rock shelf
Additional safety equipment required: Head torch or flashlight, rock boots/shoes with spikes. A change of clothes.
