Based in Sydney, Jarrod is an internationally renowned and multi award-winning fine art landscape photographer. He has contributed to Focus in many ways and over many years. He is already a Focus-approved Trip Provider and a Sponsor of the Focus Awards competition.
Jo Andrews, Chairperson of the Focus Committee said : “Focus is a community of passionate amateur landscape photographers, but many of our Members have also progressed to professional-level achievements and recognition. Our Committee concluded that Focus would benefit greatly from the opinions and advice of an outstanding and well-respected professional landscape photographer. Jarrod fits that role perfectly.”
Jarrod Castaing said “It is absolutely my pleasure to be associated with the Focus Group, which I have admired for many years and through which I have made many friends. The role of Special Photographic Adviser will give me an opportunity to further contribute to the Focus culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
The non-executive and honorary role of Special Photographic Adviser is a new position for Focus. Jarrod has already volunteered to help with the Focus Education programme in 2021, to participate in a number of free Focus weekend shoots and to join the 2021 Focus Awards Sub-Committee.
