An east coast low is forming overnight in NSW, and large swells are forecast to peak at 6 – 7 metres at around midday on Tuesday.
For seascapers planning on capturing this swell, PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION ! DO NOT venture onto exposed rock shelves
especially those facing south. Stick to ocean pools that have a buffer of sand/pathways that will allow you rapid retreat (ie, Mona Vale, Narrabeen etc).
Swells of this size only impact on the coast relatively rarely each year, so it’s worth shooting if you have the opportunity and safe location to shoot it from.
