Andrew Murrell
Andrew is an internationally recognised amateur astronomer and winner of the Lone Star Observers Award at the Texas Star Party.
Andrew is offering two-night astro photography workshops at Gresford in the Hunter Valley, near the Barrington Tops foothills.
This luxury lodge offers participants their own private room, many with ensuite. Andrew’s workshop includes two nights under the dark skies He has gained permission from local property owners to use their locations for different foregrounds.
Andrew teaches the basics of night sky photography, but then advances to more complex subjects such as star trails and even timelapse, and teaches his own processing workflow, on a single image and then multiple images.
Andrew is offering Focus Plus Members a $100 discount on his $800 two-night package, which includes the cost of accommodation. Other astro tours are also available.

David Magro
