The Focus Committee is preparing for the return of free, supervised weekend shoots for Focus Members, subject to the planned easing of restrictions by the NSW and other state governments.
Following the NSW government roadmap, Focus Shoot Leaders and Focus Members attending shoots must be double-vaccinated and be able to demonstrate their vaccination status at each shoot they attend. The Focus Committee recently voted unanimously on this stipulation.
Focus shoots will also be capped at 20. No unregistered attendance at Focus shoots will be permitted and attendance at a Focus shoot will be recorded via the NSW covid safe check-in app. These conditions will change in line with the NSW government’s guidance.
Focus is updating its covid safety policy to comply with NSW health regulations. This will be published shortly on the Focus website. All future Focus shoot notifications will link to this policy and Focus Members attending shoots will be expected to comply with its terms.
The Focus Committee obviously wants to resume Focus shoots as soon as possible – they are the life-blood of the Focus community – and will work to ensure that they can be managed safely and in compliance with the evolving covid-related provisions.
