The APERTURE photography conference takes place in Sydney over two days on 22 & 23 June 2019.

Focus has published a Facebook post to promote this competition on Monday 29 April 2019.
All those joining in this fun competition will have their names added to a list. The Focus Committee will oversee a random draw of one name from the list at its meeting on Saturday 4 May.
That person will be the winner of TWO free tickets to the Aperture conference.
This competition is a simple ‘game of chance’ and complies with the terms and conditions required by Facebook, the Australian Consumer Law and Privacy Act and NSW trade promotions regulations.
- Entry is only open to Australian residents, aged 18 years or over.
- The competition is also limited to Members of the Focus (Australia Seascape & Landscape Photography) Facebook community
- Only one (1) entry per individual will be accepted
- This promotion commences on Monday 29 April 2019 and final entries close at 11.59 pm on Friday 3 May 2019
- To enter participants must like the Focus Facebook post promoting this competition and add a comment containing the name of a speaker at the Aperture 2019 conference they would most like to hear
- The full list of speakers at the Aperture 2019 conference is published on the conference website https://apertureaustralia.com.au/
- The prize is two tickets to attend the Aperture 2019 conference taking place in Sydney over two days on 22 and 23 June 2019.
- The value of the prize is estimated at $506.97, which is the equivalent of the 2-for-1 (two tickets for the price of one) offer currently being promoted by the conference organisers.
- The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash
- Names of the competition participants will be entered into a ‘hat’ and a simple draw will determine the identity of the winner
- The draw will be undertaken by John Armytage, Executive Chairman of Focus Seascape and Landscape Photographers Inc, and supervised by the Focus Committee at its meeting on Saturday 4 May 2019 at 8.00 am.
- No member of the Focus Committee will enter the competition
- The draw will take place at the Piato Restaurant, 123 Blues Point Road, McMahons Point, Sydney, NSW 2060
- The winner’s name will be published within 48 hours of the draw, on the Focus Facebook page and the Focus website blog, no later than Monday 6 May 2019.
- The winner will be notified directly by the Focus Committee by Facebook Messenger and / or email.
- The winner will be sent a unique discount code for 100% of the official ticket price to use when applying for tickets on the Aperture 2019 conference website
- The discount code can only be used once and must be redeemed before the Aperture 2019 conference opens on 22 June 2019. The discount code will expire and the prize will be forfeited if not claimed before this date.
