Focus Awards Image Preparation 101

The Focus Awards 2015 is now accepting entries, and we hope you are all in a frenzy finalising your images. We have created this guide and titled it Focus Awards Image Preparation 101 to assist you in using the competition website.

We have launched a brand new awards site that has been developed in-house and we have had Steve Arnold, the creator of the site put together a video on how to navigate the site.

But before you enter your images, there’s a just a couple things you need to be aware of:

  • First make sure your images are resized to 2300 pixels on the long aside
  • One last requirement is to check what your colour space is

For web viewing the default standard is sRGB. Steve has prepared a on how to convert your image to sRGB using Photoshop

Ok so your images are primed for a Gold award. Now you need to navigate to the Awards website and enter the images.

Check out the guide to navigating and entering your images.
